At the meeting, Natalia Tairova, a deputy director for environmental education of Khakassky Reserve, invited the participants to get involved in the reserve’s projects that will be implemented in 2017. Besides, the participating teachers received guidelines, presentation and video materials that can be used at schools, and shared their ideas for international and national projects.

The next step of cooperation between our organizations will be the participation in the All-Russian Lesson on Protected Areas project—a series of lessons at schools where students learn about the system of protected areas in Russia. This project was developed by Zapovedniki EcoCenter as part of the Protected Areas’ Friends Movement program.

At the end of the meeting, Republican Center of Additional Education presented a letter of appreciation to Victor Nepomnyaschy—head of Khakassky Reserve—for cooperation and involvement in the seminar on “Methodological support to educators on preparing students for environmental events”.
