On the eve of the 73rd anniversary of Victory Day, Khakassky Reserve congratulated veterans and war workers from Shira and Abaza.
Members of the Tretiy Vozrast Club (Shira), Zolushka Territorial Public Self-Government of Abaza, officers from the Fire Department #6, and volunteers from School #5 of Abaza, joined in the congratulations. The veterans received gifts and flowers; the participants thanked the veterans for their invaluable contribution to the Victory, and wished them health and long life.
“Veterans need our attention and care. We are lucky to be able to congratulate veterans and war workers in person on Victory Day, and express our gratitude to them. It is our duty to remember their heroism, to be proud of them, and share the history with our children,” said head of Khakassky Reserve Victor Nepomnyaschy.
Victory Day was also celebrated with the annual campaign titled “Children to Veterans” that took place at the reserve’s excursion complex in Abaza. Khakassky Reserve’s specialists invited veterans of the Great Patriotic War and volunteers to plant young birch trees in the Victory Alley. After that, the participants congratulated the veterans with poems, and presented them with gifts and flowers.
Dear veterans and war workers, please accept our congratulations and gratitude for your courage, loyalty, strength and persistence in defending our Motherland!
